Big and small businesses both hold a community together.
I've spent more than a decade building and supporting the systems that businesses depend on, and a lot of that time was inside large organizations. I have real respect for big businesses. They employ thousands of people, they invest in their communities, and the best of them run technology very well.
But the shops, crews, clinics, and offices on your own street matter just as much. They're where neighbors work, where families earn a living, and where a community's money stays. A big company has an IT department and consultants on call. A small one usually has whatever happens to work, and not much time to think about it.
That gap isn't about effort. Owners are busy running the business, and they shouldn't have to become experts in tenants, firewalls, and device policies. They need someone they can call who will explain it plainly, fix it properly, and charge them fairly.
So I started Allastair Bay Systems: the same standards the big companies rely on, sized and priced for a small business, from a real person who answers the phone.
